"Sucky Chucky and his Crew failed me entirely after my 16-year-old son was struck by another State Farm-insured driver. Instead of investigating fairly, State Farm pinned 25% liability on my son, citing only "speed" without considering the evidence I provided. For eight long months, I was denied direct communication with the claims adjuster, forced to deal with express reps who could only repeat the predetermined liability split. Every piece of evidence I submitted to prove my son’s innocence was ignored, and they refused to investigate from my perspective. When I sought help from my new agent, Chuck Swenson, I was met with shocking indifference. His dismissive response—“We don’t do anything policy or claims related; we just babysit the staff”—made it clear they had no intention of advocating for their clients. Transferred back to the Princeton office, I demanded to speak to Chuck directly. His so-called "solution" was insulting: accept the liability decision, with years of higher premiums, or take the matter to conciliation court. Neither option addressed the lack of communication or fair consideration I desperately needed. Chuck provided no advocacy, no support, and no effort to resolve the issue. Attempting to fight this battle alone, I spent months trying to get the claims department to acknowledge my evidence. Knowing Chuck and his team had no problem collecting our $780 in monthly premiums (not including coverage for our two homes), I tried contacting him again. Yet, Chuck was never in the office, and his staff’s promises to investigate were hollow. Eventually, I received an email from Chuck falsely claiming that two claims managers had already explained their decision—this never happened. Not once did claims communicate with me or explain their rationale. This was exactly why I needed Chuck, but he and his team failed to advocate or even ensure basic communication. Chuck Swenson and his crew showed no interest in customer service, advocacy, or resolving complex claims situations. Instead, they abandoned me while continuing to collect premiums. As someone who worked for State Farm, I know agents can and should do much more to assist their clients. Chuck’s disregard for his customers’ needs is a stark warning: if you’re considering insurance for peace of mind during claims, think again. Chuck and his crew won’t look out for you. Buyer beware. After eight months of relentless stress, migraines, and frustration, I finally escalated the issue on my own to someone senior in State Farm’s management. Only then was a call made confirming that the other driver was 100% liable for the accident. Let that sink in—this resolution came entirely *despite* Chuck Swenson and his crew’s utter failure. They didn’t help me advocate or ensure justice for my son. They collected my premiums but abandoned me when I needed them most. This nightmare should serve as a wake-up call: if it could happen to me, it could happen to anyone. Buyer beware—your agent might not fight for you when it counts. Mine did not!"

"My last email that was sent on the 14th that has been completely ignored by State Farm: I believe I will be doing what I can to file a complaint against this company. I am glad to be done as of how unfairly my family was treated. I’m glad to also see my dad a customer for over a decade as well has cancelled his four vehicle policy and my mom will be cancelling hers as well. That is a huge loss against State Farm. It just goes to show when customers are treated unfairly they don’t put up with it. I had to keep following up to begin with on 5 separate occasions to get this explained so I apologize about my lack in response as this hasn’t been a main priority for me because I couldn’t get a timely response prior to your email because I’m assuming I’m no longer a customer a response was put on the back burner. Again, I have been a customer for a very long time. But as a customer I couldn’t put up with this company any longer especially after receiving my last bill. I am very unhappy with this company and have been for sometime. For me, not being able to cover my husband on my insurance was the last straw. My rates kept going up without warning even know being locked in at a certain rate per month for x amount of time. I feel I never received discounts nor breaks as a customer. I know this is all that is talked about at State Farm but after being a customer for years I personally never experienced that. I was completely shocked and let down when I tried to use my insurance back in September when someone hit and ran my vehicle come to find out somehow my check was not applied to my account and I was unaware the day this incident happened, very conveniently. So there goes my vehicle unfixed. After paying for months, $100’s of my hard worked dollars went to this company and has been nothing but a fight when I go to use my “benefits” when something happens to vehicle. I mean this with no disrespect but it’s unbelievable what this company does to it’s customers. I’m not understanding why my last bill is $135 dollars. Especially after canceling within the month 2 weeks before my January bill was even due. I called on the 15th to state I was cancelling my insurance and not a thank you or sad to see you go. I will not be paying this company a single dime more. Thank you,"

However, my experience with Nicole from the Chuck Swenson agency was different. "I I don’t know what to say. I teared up reflecting on my afternoon at Chuck Swensons office. Going over the perfect personalized booklet they made for me to understand the ins. They let me hang out. The even gave me a water and even let me say a couple swear words. Definitely a better experience than the local jail. I bet Chuck would have helped with the car wash. Jill wouldn’t even let us try to have one. Definitely will go back. Just like jail. But I’ll be happy to go with State Farm. They even cover false arrests. See you soon Chuck.! I Heart you."
